A glimpse of the horses that have moved on to wonderful new homes and smooth-riding new owners!
'Push'

Don't let his age fool you, this guy is an excellent
trail horse and gets better every time he's out on
the trails.  He'll lead or follow and he'll go out
alone just as easily.  He is currently barefoot and
g
oes along on a smooth ride. Super easy to load
and unload and stands like a true gentleman for
the vet and farrier.  He's calm and super friendly
in the pasture and adores affection (and treats
are good too). With every month he fills out a little
more and just gets better looking each day, he's
going to be a good size when he's fully done
maturing and he'll carry his rider with style and
comfort. He has a nice wideset eye and a good
stride, about 4" over at just the walk.
He's as calm
as a puppy dog, who could ask for more!

Congratulations Kathy from Allentown, PA
'Nugget'

Nugget is a golden palomino gelding . He was
started gentle, the right way and is now on his
way to becoming an awesome trail horse. Not
spooky, will lead or follow, no vices or bad habits,
loads & unloads like a dream, super friendly and
easy going.  My 10 year old daughter rides him all
over the farm and loves his personality and his
smooth stride. This guy loves attention and will
follow you anywhere. He's been all over the trails
of Eastern Kentucky and does it well.

Congratulations Kim of Chicago, IL
Bailey

Bailey is the wonder horse! At age 2 he was a
high dollar speed racking prospect and for the
past 2 1/2 yrs he's logged over 7000 trail miles.
Everyone from toddlers to grandmothers have
ridden him out on the trails. He'll lead, follow, go
with a group or alone and does it well. High
stepping front end, wide set eyes, good bone,
perfect conformation and the most gorgeous
deep golden palomino with 4 whites and a blaze.
Not a flaw, no vices, and he's the sweetest, most
gentle horse on the ground as well.  A horse like
him is beyond rare and one with his looks is a
one in a million find! He is a true gem and
beautiful to go with it!

Here is your next show winner and ultimate trail
horse all in one great package! .

Congratulations Diane of Catawissa, PA!
Lil Joe

Here's a nice boy! Lil Joe is an outstanding
three-and-a-half year old; was started nicely as a
two year old and has spent t six months living
with a professional trainer, who took him to Big
South Fork and a number of trail riding
destinations in Kentucky. Very 'at home' on the
trail. Walks right over a tarp, sidepasses, even
pulls a log, cowboy-style! Built great - short
backed, high headed, moves very nicely. Jet black
(the photos were taken on a day too cold for a
bath, so he's a little dusty, but he's true black), no
white on him anywhere. Super friendly in the
pasture and a gentleman on a lead rope and
under saddle. We've been enjoying taking him
out on the trails here; content to walk along, but
very willing to step up into a nice running walk. If
you're ready to move up to the 'glide ride' of a
Walking Horse, Joe is a great choice. With the
great training foundation he's had and the trail
miles already behind him, he's wise for his years,
and will give you many, many years of real riding
pleasure!

Congratulations Susan & Shamus of Hanover,
PA!
' Tater '

If you're looking for a big easy going trail horse,
look no further. Tater is a very thick boned trail
buddy that will carry you all day long down the
trail. He's content to walk along through any trail
obstacle you point at him. Not the least bit spooky
and as gentle as a lamb. He has a showy, high
stepping slow rack and can carry a larger person
with ease. Through mud, streams, over fallen
trees, nothing bothers him. Just sit there and
have a great trail ride. Tater loads, unloads,
stands tied to the trailer, tacks up, vet, dentist,
farrier, all with ease and no vices. He's been
there done that. Looking for a trail buddy, this is
the guy.

Congratulations to Cindy & Bill from
York Haven, PA
'JayDee'

JayDee is the ultimate trail machine.  She's been
there done that and done it well. She has been
our personal riding horse for the past three years
and has seen more trails and obstacles than
most horses 3 times her age. She's been to Iron
Mountain, Virginia, to Big South Fork, Tennessee
(twice) Cave Run, Kentucky, and all over the local
and state parks of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
This mare will cross covered bridges, open
bridges, metal grated bridges, logs, you name it
on the trail. She's been through streams, rivers,
in lakes and at the beach... water does not bother
her. This is the least spooky horse I've ever
encountered and she's the same horse whether
you ride every day or every other month. She's an
easy keeper, utd on everything, good for the vet
and farrier and has no vices or bad habits. She
self loads into the trailer (you just point) and is
easy to back off or turn her around and walk her
off.  This mare has an ultra smooth gait and a
wonderful canter. She's content to walk all day
and will gait when you call on her. She's been on
1 hour rides and 9 hour rides, she's always the
same. She'll lead, follow, or go in the middle.  If
you can't ride this mare, you should be in a
rocking chair.  She is definitely one of a kind.

Congratulations to Terry from York, PA
'Badger'

Badger is a beautiful red chocolate gelding that is
the goofball of the pasture. He loves attention and
will put his nose against your back if you're
paying attention to someone else. He's so
friendly and easy to get along with and is great for
the farrier and the vet. He loads and unloads on
the trailer without an issue and is an all around
great guy. He's a wonderful trail horse that will go
down the trail with ease and doesn't spook
easily. Crosses water, bridges, logs, etc. and
takes good care of his rider. He has a nice build
and a great conformation. Here's your next trail
buddy!

Congratulations to Holly from East Berlin, PA
'Ziggy'

Ziggy is a wonderfully sweet mare with a very kind
heart. Comes running for you when you enter the
pasture, she's the first to put her nose in the
halter. Responsive and learning under saddle;
content to walk along, but with a nice, pitter patter
gait, too. Great build and conformation. She's a
favorite of ours out in the field; she's just a fun
and friendly horse to be around! Currently
learning the trails and progressing nicely.

Congrats to Pam from Kutztown, PA
'Smoke'

Smoke is a rare find!  Here's a trail gelding that is
safe for any level rider and he's conformationally
perfect to go with it. Smooth gait and easy going
temperment. You can do anything in the world
with this guy and he takes it all in stride. He'll
lead, follow, or ride in the middle. He'll be happy
to take the lead and go where the other horses
hesitate. Smoke crosses bridges, water, logs,
mud, you name it, he's seen it and isn't at all
bothered. My very beginner son took him on a 3
hour trail ride and was giddy with how well this
guy behaves and how smooth his ride was. He's
been all over the hills of Eastern Kentucky on
tons of rides and now he's ready to take you out
on your own trail rides.

Congrats to Donna in Dickerson, MD
'Radar'

Radar is a puppy dog in horse clothing.  This
trail-savvy gelding has tons of miles on him in the
woods and on the trails. Content to walk along,
but a nice easy gait when you ask for it. Goes
where you point him quietly and confidently. Not
spooky; very level-headed and easy to ride. One
of the most gentle horses you can find, he comes
to meet you at the gate, follows you around the
pasture, adores attention and loves to give
kisses! No bad habits, trailers well, super easy
for the vet and farrier, just an all around great
gelding.

Congrats to Gene & Chris in York, PA
'Ozzy'

Ozzy has the looks and build of a performance
racking horse. Will rack smoothly at 14 miles per
hour, this gelding grew up in on the wooded trails
at Cave Run State Park in Kentucky; he's used to
the kind of obstacles you commonly encounter
out on the trail. A more seasoned trail rider
looking to move up to a keener, faster gaited
horse will fall in love with this gelding. He's gentle
to handle, runs to meet you in the pasture, is very
easy for the vet and farrier and trailers like a
dream. He has excellent conformation, little
hooked ears, wide set eyes, and a big shoulder.
Once you ride him, you will fall in love with his
super smooth gait.  This guy is one of the
smoothest horses I've ridden and he doesn't ever
take advantage of his rider.

Congrats to Chris & Gene in York, PA
'Sherman Tank'

Tank is the ultimate trail machine! He's content to
walk or will step it up to a nice gait and will lope
off with the best of them.  He's done parades,
polo, sorted cattle, and has more trail miles than
horses twice his age.  He's easy and gentle and
a huge "tank" of a horse. Good for the vet and
farrier, loads and unloads like a dream and is
now looking for his new trail buddy.

Congrats to Ronnie in Rochester, NY
'Topper'

Double registered! Eye-catching and fun to ride,
Topper will get you noticed on the trail or in the
ring. Topper's early riding life was in the show
ring--more recently, she was started on the trail.
Showy, comfortable gaits, very well mannered,
and light mouthed. Very nimble; steers on leg
cues. Parks out to mount, trailer loads with great
ease. Topper is a well-finished horse who knows
her job; her energy level is appropriate for an
advanced beginner; rides with great control (and
we've never seen a buck, rear or crowhop), and
will move out quickly when asked. Clean legged,
great feet. Very social--will seek you out in the
pasture and drop her nose into a waiting halter to
go to work.

Congrats to Brenda in Wrightsville, PA!
'Joe'

Joe is a gentile, laid-back horse, great for a  first
horse, or for a newer rider interested in a nice,
easy walk and run-walk. Joe is easy-going under
saddle; very attentive to his rider. Stands quietly to
tack up and mount. Stocky build, very short
backed and conformationally correct. Lots of
miles on the trail and around the farm; we've
ridden him around vehicles, through belly-deep
water (and even up to a couple of bulls!) and he
wasn't fazed. We've watched him take the
gentlest care of nervous riders; keeping his
undivided attention on his rider; stopping if he felt
they were coming unseated. Nice boy!

Congrats to Linda in State College, PA!
.
Maddy

Maddy is a real sweetheart! A 3 year old Kentucky

Candy Cane is now available for sale. This super
smooth gaited icelandic pony has seen and done
it all. 15 years old, 10.3 hands. She trail rides,
goes through or around anything and will camp
out all night on a high line, in a stall or small
electric corral. She's taught my daughter how to
ride and ride smooth. She can tolt all day long
and keeps up with the big horses. 50-50 black
and white and the smoothest little ride anywhere.
She is truly a been there done that pony. She's
done fun shows, barrels, poles, 4-H, and even
jousting. A smooth gaited icelandic pony for a
child is a once in a lifetime opportunity. She's
smoother than our mountain horses or walking
horses. She goes for 2 or 8 hours on the trail and
will stand tied to a tree for lunch break. She'll go
out alone or with a group. Traffic safe, used to
dogs, deer, bicycles, etc. on the trail. Not spooky, I
can't think of a time that she ever spooked at all.
She'll take the lead when other horses won't.

covered bridges, etc. She loads & unloads and

in a 3 horse)UTD on all shots, including west
nile, coggins, farrier, dental, worming. She is
sane, sound, and healthy with no vices. A very
easy keeper and easy to be around. Not to

pills, she'd never leave the farm, I'd ride her
myself. I've never seen another icelandic kid's
pony anywhere
Archie

Archie is an adorable sorrel gaited mule john that
has an excellent personality. This 3 year old mule
is out of a standard jack and tennessee walker
mare and has a nice gait going down the trail. He
stands 14.2 and has a nice stout build. With time
under saddle he should be a nice racking mule.
He stands still to tack up and mount, loads and
unloads from the trailer and is all around a
pleasant guy to be around. Just look at those
hooked ears!
Roscoe P. Muletrain

Roscoe will be 2 in August. Very used to other

flaxen mane and tail and no white markings. He
has the best foundation bloodlines you could ask
for in a KMSHA colt. Toby has been handled daily
since he was a weanling by adults and kids. He's
halter broke and leads well. Will stand tied. He's
been sacked out on just about everything.
Crosses water and has had my 5 year old
daughter sit on his back. He stands for the vet
and farrier and is a sweet little guy.
Delight's Mighty Motion

Motion is a gorgeous 3 year old registered
Tennessee Walking Horse (TWHBEA) and
eligible for the Spotted Saddle Horse registry
(SSHBEA) as well. His sire is 8 time world
champion SSHBEA and Mo has the looks and
movement to prove it. Motion currently stands at
14.3 and will top out around 15 to 15.1 at maturity.
He's been on lots of trail rides and doesn't
hesitate at any obstacles. He crosses streams,
rivers, bridges, logs, goes through mud and
tunnels, is traffic and farm equipment safe. He's
been exposed to dogs, other animals and small
children. He is safe for a beginner and is our six
year old daughter's favorite horse to ride. He has
a great mind and always takes care of his rider.
100% safe, sane, and sound. Motion has a
smooth as glass gait and is a complete
sweetheart of a horse.
Pride of Command

Maggie is a wonderful, safe family horse. She's
double registered Tennessee Walking Horse
(TWHBEA) and Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse
(KMSHA) with four World Grand Champions right
on her papers. At 6 years old she's a great age to
have around your pasture for years to come.
WC Jackie Doc Bar

Doc was how it all started. He was my trail buddy
for three years, a registered American Paint
Horse (APHA) and a great gymkhana horse.
Standing at 14.2 he's super quick around the
barrels and poles and loves competing. I
discovered with Doc, that he didn't love the trails
so much, and wasn't a smooth all day ride. It took
riding Doc for several years to discover the gaited
breeds. Doc was sold to a great home with a true
barrel racer and he's loving life. Now that I ride
smooth, so am I.
Glidden

Glidden was how it all started for Dave. This was
his first horse and a great way to begin a
wonderful trail life. Glidden is a Clydesdale / Paint
Horse cross and was as easy to get along with
as the day is long. He made a wonderful first
horse and carried us on many trail miles. Anyone
who has ridden a draft probably knows, they are
not the most comfortable trail horses. So, with
fond regrets, we parted with dear Glidden and
sent him to his new home with a husband that
needed a great first horse. Dave now rides in
comfort all day too.
